.com Animated Ads

When the marketing team launched a campaign to reinforce the power of the .com domain name, they asked for a fresh way to grab attention across digital and social channels. Static graphics weren't going to cut it—we wanted something that would stop the scroll, spark recognition, and stay true to the brand.

“Looking to bring your business online?”

“Looking to bring your business online?”

Create a set of short animated ads for digital and social channels that would bring abstract marketing statements to life. The goal was to transform each tagline into motion-driven stories that were playful, polished, and unmistakably .com.

Our Goals

Reinforce the recognition and value of the .com domain name through memorable, engaging motion

Support campaign messaging while increasing attention and retention in fast-scrolling feeds

Deliver assets optimized for web and social—balancing clarity, animation, and file size

My Role
  • Storyboarding: I started by sketching simple storyboards to explore pacing and visual narrative.

  • Design & Illustration: I created bold, on-brand vector graphics that gave each abstract tagline a clear visual hook.

  • Animation: I built short, looping motion pieces in After Effects—designed to tell a quick story and replay seamlessly.

  • Optimization: I tuned file sizes and frame rates to keep animations sharp and lightweight for social platforms.

Collaboration & Delivery

I worked closely with the marketing team to refine tone, pacing, and visual style, then delivered ready-to-deploy assets in multiple formats for digital and social use.
