The marketing team developed the campaign slogan “Your Domain Name. Uniquely You.” They asked the design team to explore a visual identity, and I created and pitched the final creative direction. As lead designer, I shaped the campaign’s visual identity and user experience across digital and motion assets.
“Your Domain Name. Uniquely You.”
The Challenge
.net was trusted and dependable — but it needed to feel personal. Our challenge was to transform its reputation from simply safe and steady into something empowering and inspiring. We set out to craft a visual identity that puts small business owners at the center: authentic, confident, and unique, yet simple enough to scale across every platform.
Our Goals
Our challenge was to make .net feel personal and empowering while staying simple and scalable.
Elevate the visibility of the .net brand
Drive awareness, build brand preference, and increase engagement lift

Campaign Assets
With the visual system in place, we focused on making it easy to scale and stay consistent across every touchpoint. Our work extended beyond a single campaign to give teams the tools they needed to keep the look and feel strong wherever .net appeared:
Brand Style Guide
Documented the new color palette, typography, and image treatments to give teams clear, on-brand direction.
Figma Design Library
Assembled reusable styles, components, and specs, helping designers, developers and partners produce new materials with confidence and consistency.
Product Site Design
As lead UX designer, I designed the new yourdot.net product site, improving structure, flow, and visual clarity while applying the refreshed identity.
Paid Media
Both myself and the team created ready-to-use display ads and social banners sized for multiple platforms, giving the brand a cohesive presence online.
Event Collateral
The team designed roll-ups, large-format graphics, and supporting materials to bring the refreshed identity into conferences and trade shows.
Campaign Video
We brought the system to life through motion — creating 30-, 15-, and 8-second spots for digital channels. Each used dynamic type, bold yellow accents, and smooth transitions to keep .net instantly recognizable.
Campaign Metrics
Independent testing revealed a stronger performance compared to prior campaigns in comparable markets and demographics.

What began as a challenge to make stock photography feel memorable became a bold, ownable identity for .net. The black-and-white imagery with a single yellow accent gave the brand new energy — one that resonated with small business owners and drove measurable gains in awareness and engagement.
